If you know me but at all, you would know that I love going to tea. I would choose going to tea over shopping, going to the movies and water sports. 

I have had tea at five amazing locations. This is my lousy attempt at documenting them. 

Kensington Gardens

In the summer of 2009, I backpacked through Western Europe with two of my best friends. It was the experience of a lifetime. While in London, my friend Liz wanted to get tea at Kensington. Getting High Tea is a very British thing to do - so we did it! This is where my conversion to "High Tea" took place. 

Beverly Hills Peninsula

In typical fashion, I spent my summer 2010 in California. In August, all my cousins from my Dads side came to visit. We decided to go to the Peninsula to have tea. If you haven't been to the Peninsula, it is one of the nicest hotels in LA. I really don't know why it doesn't get more press - but maybe that's half the allure of the place. Anyway... we all got dolled up and drove to BH to have High Tea.

Salt Lake City Grand America

Before Liz got married, we went to tea at the very same hotel she would be celebrating her up and coming marriage at. Again, we dressed up and ordered the fanciest High Tea we could. Elisa was even able to wear her, appropriately named, "Garden Party" dress!

While we were having tea, there was a group of little girls having tea across the room. It was a birthday party and they were all dressed to the nines. It was precious.

Dubai Burj al Arab

This past summer I had the amazing opportunity to go visit my sister and her family in Abu Dhabi. While there, we made it a point to go to tea at the Burj al Arab in Dubai. If you don't know this hotel, you should probably look it up. It is the most extravagant hotel I have ever been in. It is the only (self-claimed) 7-Star hotel in the world! After having tea there, I totally think it should get 7 stars. The wait staff, food, ambiance, bathrooms, elevators, basically everything was top notch.

New York City Plaza 

My summer in New York would not have been complete without High Tea at the plaza. This had been on my bucket list since I realized how awesome High Tea is. You always hear about tea at the Plaza - and it was amazing. I loooved my tea, and the treats that came with it. 

So if anyone wants to go to tea, please invite me!
