Greetings blog followers, and those who secretly follow my blog but haven't yet taken the leap to become an actual follower. I am currently in the wonderful land of Turkey! For those of you who don't know where that is, here is a map. 

Now, I am only in Turkey for a mere 3.5 hours, and technically I'm only in the airport. But I venture to say that that is more than most people can say. Ever. 

This definitely has been interesting. I didn't sleep at all on the 10 hour flight, because Turkish Airlines had over 130 movies to choose from! That's not including their numerous TV shows, games, and other forms of entertainment on their larger than normal individual screen televisions. 

Anyway, in the airport, I've already:

1) taken a survey

2) seen two Russian men about 7.5 feet tall (their hips were at my shoulders. NOT JOKING.) 

3) walked the length of the airport about 8 times

4) not understood one word of this turkish language. 

5) smiled like an idiot because I'm in a country I've never been before with people I've never met anyone like. 

More adventures are on their way. (outside of the airport variety)
